Peace Corps

I served as  Peace Corps Volunteer in Jamaica in 2012. I worked as a Youth and Sport Advisor in the parish of St. Thomas. If you are doing the math, no, I did not complete my two years of service. My therapist tells me not to dwell on the sense of failure because, really, how many people can say they have even done it? I had some incredible successes and some incredible failures, and now I am happy to be home.

To keep in accordance with the rules of the PC I will again post the disclaimer:

The contents of this website are mine personally and do not reflect any position of the U.S. government or the Peace Corps.

At the time, my blog was called Bold.Brash.Courageous. The idea from one of my high school teachers who always encouraged us to go into every endeavor bold, brash, and courageous.

  1. That’s really awesome, whether you completed it or not. You still went out there and got a great experience. My dad worked for the Peace Corp in Jamaica as well, but that was way back in the 70s.
